While the adoption of software as a service (SaaS) has been a tremendous advantage to the productivity of organizations, it is not a panacea. As with on-premises solutions, Microsoft 365 apps like Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams (which is a purely cloud app) still require added functionality from third-party vendors to provide features like data protection and robust data loss prevention.
In this document,we will analyze Microsoft 365 licensing and features to reveal potential feature or functionality gaps.
