The pace and complexity of threats in the cybersecurity landscape is increasing. First, CISOs had to focus on securing an entire workforce remotely during the pandemic, only to be confronted with new supply chain vulnerabilities. Second, more recently, executives face the ripple effect of international cyber-attacks from state-sanctioned actors.
In short, highly efficient and flexible security operations are crucial to keep pace with an extremely dynamic global threat landscape. Add to that, CISOs face the continuing challenge of combating ransomware. They also have to keep pace with the new security requirements of cloud and digital transformation projects. CISO's are under extraordinary pressure to continue to evolve and mature their cybersecurity programs in 2023.
